GTV Productions is one of the leading French drama production companies, created by Christian Charret in 1999. The company is home to producers Jacques Salles and Sandra d’Aboville.

GTV’s credits include international coproductions Highlander and Sydney Fox as well as French series Night Squad, The Counselors and Lea Parker, and a prestigious high-end prime-time drama catalogue among which: The Dominici Case (top-rated program in France in 2003 across all channels and genres); The Blue Bicycle (best ratings for a drama on France 2); First to the Top; The River of Hope; The Neighbor; A Cry in the Night; Dombey & Son; New Wave; Jury Duty (winner of two FIPA d’Or in 2008); The Queen and the Cardinal (Best Director award at the 2008 La Rochelle Festival); The Dead Queen; Marquise of Darkness; Who Killed Little Red Riding Hood (Best Mini-Series award at the 2009 La Rochelle TV Festival); The Distant Echo (Best Actor award for the four leading male roles at the Luchon Film Festival in 2010).

Jacques Salles currently produces Blood on the Docks, a cop drama series for France 2 adapted from Graham Hurley’s novels starring Bruno Solo and Jean-Marc Barr (now 10 episodes), as well as The Laviolette collection for France 3, with now 9 films shot in the South of France.

Jacques Salles has just co-produced Occupied with Yellow Bird (a Zodiak Media company), an ambitious political thriller for Arte and TV2 Norway (transmission fall 2015), as well as Murders in Provence, with Leyland Film. The drama achieved a record breaking audience on France 3 in May 2015 with 4.29m viewers and a share of 19.9%.

Sandra d’Aboville’s most recent productions include Ice Quake, a psychological drama film for France 2 (over 4 million viewers and a market share of 16.8% on France 2 in Nov 2014); The Permission, a 90’ drama for France 3 by Philippe Niang shot in 2014 in Lille (awarded at the Festival de Luchon 2015); Quartet, a 90’ for Arte based on Irène Nemirovsky’s novel and directed by Anne Villacèque (in official selection at FIPA and awarded at the Festival de Luchon 2015), and It’s never too late, a comedy drama for France 2.
